Hey there... My name is Linsey Christensen. I am Miss Nicole's sister. I am a 2007 graduate from Bear River High School. I am currently a student at Weber State University pursuing a degree in microbiology. My long-term goal is to attend medical school, specializing in pediatrics. This past six months, I have been teaching English in Kiev, Ukraine with the International Language Program. I worked with several different children with the age ranges 4-12. This was such an amazing experience for me and I enjoyed the opportunity to watch those children develop and grow!
Under the direction of Miss Nicole, I am excited to announce the Preschool Summer Camp! These classes will be literacy based, fun, interactive, and creative. I will be presenting the following classes:
June 23 - Pinkalicious: Based on the darling children's book by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann. Come join me for a day filled with PINK! Be sure to wear your favorite pinkalicious outfit!
June 25 - Dr. Seuss Day: We will discover many of the creative stories of Dr. Seuss.
July 14 - Big Red Barn: Come in your cowboy hats ready to play with the farm animals. (Kittens & goats)
July 16 - The Very Hungry Caterpillar: Come spend the day with me exploring the story of the hungry caterpillar by Eric Carle. We will even make our own very hungry caterpillar.
July 20 - Rumble in the Jungle: Come learn about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
July 22 - Commotion in the Ocean: Let's go on an ocean adventure! We will learn about what lives under the ocean and even have a water party! Don't forget to dress to get wet!
July 28 - Learn with the Dinosaurs: Experience learning like never before! We will be exploring the world of prehistoric dinosaurs.
July 30 - Tourin' the Town: We will be visiting some of the sites Tremonton has to offer! ( 4-5 year olds only please.)
August 4 - Go Away Big Green Monster: What has a bluish-greenish nose, sharp white teeth, and big yellow eyes? Come find out with me!
August 6 - Too Many Toys: Do you have too many toys? Come see how Spencer took care of his toys!
Class times will be 10 am - 12:00 pm. Class sizes will be limited to no more than 10 per class. Classes will be $10. This includes tuition and supplies.
